troubled skies poured sound—
sudden patters and splashes,,,,,,
and hiss! crack! pop! of wood*
drowned not the shaman’s drum ()
we danced, until we tranced the fire

On dverse today……The Wayra (Quechua – wind) is a popular verse form of Peru and Bolivia. It appears it originated in an indigenous Quechua language.
